Add the new key for repository

gpg --keyserver keys.gnupg.net --recv 886DDD89

gpg --export A3C4F0F979CAA22CDBA8F512EE8CBC9E886DDD89 | sudo apt-key add -

Update the software list

apt-get update

Install Tor, Vidalia and Privoxy

apt-get install tor tor-geoipdb privoxy vidalia

Configure Privoxy

gedit /etc/privoxy/config

Append the following line : forward-socks5 / 127.0.0.1:9050 .

Start the engines

/etc/init.d/privoxy start

/etc/init.d/tor start

Download Torbutton for firefox

or

Open Firefox Options -> Advanced -> Network -> Settings -> Choose Manual Configuration
In HTTP Proxy field type: 127.0.0.1 and in Port field type 8118
